> Must be nice to have buddies at a newspaper that will run a fluff piece for them. Odd how it was "compiled by staff and wire reports". But, more power to the Backyard people. Our usual Clarion-Ledger feature news on radio in Jackson consists of how many cars were broken into at a hip-hop radio station event.

I find it funny that I actually read almost the same article (minus WWJK) on cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/05/25/radio.shuffle.ap/index.html)from the AP around the end of May. Much of it is word for word.

Because this article was assembled before the current trends... you ought to look at the new ones.

In case anyone is interested............
the Jack format is on the move. WCBS-fm, oldies since 1972 and the home of
Cousin Brucie changed formats to JackFM almost two weeks ago.

Been years since I was in this end of the business but I like it.
Kinda like oldies for adults.

bye,

W4 (WWWW) .... and it's not an amateur radio call sign from the 4th radio
district.
