Clark Howard Show

Up here in Connecticut I can get The Clark Howard show on 2 different stations - live 1PM-4PM on Bridgeport's Cumulus owned WICC 600 and on delay on Hartford's CBS owned WTIC 1080 7PM-10PM.

Anyway tonight I was listening on my drive home from work. In the segment before the 9:30PM break Clark took a call from a woman in California who was calling to get advice because she was selling her house to a relative.

At 9:30PM I arrived at my parents house. Stayed 20 mins to pick up my laundry and a few other things. When I got back in my car at about 9:53PM my radio comes on and they're running the same segment that they ran prior to the 9:30 break.

This is the 2nd time I noticed the wrong segment airing. The other day when I was listening on WICC and at 1:59 Clark said "It's 29 past the hour." Until I heard the repeated segment on WTIC tonight I thought it was just a problem with WICC because they are notorious for having technical problems.

What's going on with this?

....(hahahahaa)...it's like one of those mathematical word problems. ;D But, yeah I too have wondered about stuff like that and with Clark always saying the "minutes-after the hour" if it would sound even more mixed up if a local station were to preempt or "accidentally" repeat a segment. So, that is weird. Anyone?

We air Clark time-shifted and I don't recall that Dial Global has ever made a mistake on the re-feed, particularly on the "xx minutes after the hour" part. Betting its the station.

What I'd be interested in knowing is if he's the most densely aired program in North Georgia. I can think of six different stations that carry him in the 70 miles from Atlanta to Toccoa/Habersham. Folks love their Clark, I guess.

Marc, you should start listening to Dave Ramsey. He owns Clark Howard, IMHO.
