Howard criticised by name sponsor that Limpbaugh and Laura advertised personally....saying one of founders had legal trouble in past with credit repair business and that someone took the social security number given out on ad and opened account..could this be another NADN type situtation?? (gov shut down, owner killed self with bullet to brain in desert outside Vegas)

I love seeing talk radio listeners taken...

I swear this whole Identity Theft scare is a gimmick to bilk money out of consumers. Now we need to pay extra to have the security that used to be standard equipment.

I'm inclined to believe Clark Howard, a full time consumer advocate. Hearing Limbaugh selling identity theft protection is like having Norton tell you to buy antivirus. It makes me wonder if it is them who are inventing the viruses.

That makes sense. Howard earns his living from airing a syndicated radio talk show, and depends on some measure of controversy to get publicity to get more listeners.

Rush, on the other hand, earns his living from airing a syndicated radio talk show, and depends on some measure of controversy to get publicity to get more listeners.

The difference between them is obvious.

Of course, Howard did make a big pile of money in the travel agency business.

And though Howard will accept commercials from anyone, he won't use his own voice on the spots.
