Clark Howard?

No more Clark Howard now in SA? WOAI should put him on and go against dave ramsey.

I just discovered radiotime.com
You search their site for a particular syndicated host and they'll link you to a station streaming it right now.
And trust me, someone somewhere is streaming Clark Howard right now.

It won't happen head to head at OAI. No way they replace Rush or Hannity, the #1 and #2 highest rated syndicated shows nationally.

I've been listening to Clark Howard at night on KRLD sometimes.

As a newsie, I resent when talk show hosts get all the ratings credit and nobody mentions the affiliate's top notch local news. News is what draws non-Rush fans back to KLBJ, WOAI, KTRH et al every hour even if they're tired of the same old political topics.

Agreed on that, Fred. The only time I'm listening to KLBJ at this point is from :04 to :08 after the hour, and sometimes to Jeff Ward during drivetime. And I THINK KLBJ streams Clark Howard beginning at 7:00 p.m. weeknights.

Not me. If I happen to be listening to Rush, which isn't often, the local news on WOAI will keep me tuned in. But mostly, the presence of non-local political talk makes me avoid the station during the mid-day and PM Drive dayparts. I'm sure I miss a lot of news that way.

I do tune in to WOAI's mostly apolitical AM drive hosts and news. (Jim Forsythe's 7:15 in-depth segment is most excellent.) I wish there was an apolitical news talk option for PM drive. Sports talk gets tiresome for too much of the year when you don't care about the local football teams.
