Class C-2 FM For Sale

I've wonder my self which station that is.

If THAT'S the case then they have bumped the price up by 600K in 3 years. It wasn't worth $1M then!!!! Maybe someone should look at what has been happening with the economy!

If that's a Bishop Willis station, I've wonder now if hes looking to start selling some stations now? Could WGTM maybe one of them?

I don't think its WGTM, isn't that an AM with 5KW at the low end of the dial in Wilson? Or are those calls also on the FM band too? Since the listing is for a C-2 FM, I was wondering if it could be WQZL 101.1 in Belhaven. Doesn't it operate with about 31KW with 600+ antenna? It would be a C-2. Of course it would be hard to determine its value since they simulcast with WQSL in Jacksonville.
I didn't spend a lot of time searching, but I didn't see a C-2 on Radio Locator near Elizabeth City owned by the Bishop. It could be licensed to one of his "shell companies".

I would't pay $5 for that station in its current shape...last time I went thru that building they were playing church programming off speakerphone with the mic hot...playing spots off cassette tapes and putting a CD on repeat for overnights...I think they have automation now but its not that great, mostly sounding like a bad internet stream....the station has never made full power since it went up to 50kw... usually because of transmitter issues, they were off the air for over a month cuz their 25kw transmitter blew up... the building reaks of cotton balls to keep the snakes/rats etc out...theres no EAS equipment there whatsoever, when they got their CP they made an addition to the tower...but the metal used at the top is thicker than the original tower....so..yeah..its topheavy...the tower is also not lit and the paint is peeling/ flaking off..when I was there the engineer from willis told the GM to paint the tower to the 6 ft level to make it look like its in progress of being painted if the FCC/FAA comes around....I don't see how that station makes any money to pay its bills...I think a drug dealer would do a better job keeping that station on the air legitimatly.

several people have....I only seen him have to own up for his fines once..and he turned in WCRY 1460 Fuquay Varina NC's license...a group of engineers had posted a ton of stuff on him and his antics several years ago thru the newsgroups...unfortunatly I lost the conversations about 3 hard drives ago...
