Classic 93.1 - KHLX Audio

Anyone else noticed that the audio on 93.1 KHLX seems to shift from the Left to the Right Channel? It seems to have a strange phasing issue of some sort. Its actually so annoying at times it makes me tune away.

Audio for this sattion seems to have been an ongoing issue. Issues with an Intraplex?

The right channel substantially overpowers the left. Not to mention the audio itself sounds downright horrible, which has been discussed in the past on this board. Absolutely the worst sounding FM station I've ever heard. No offense to anyone on Ethan Way...just stating the facts.

And you're right...it's annoying enough to change the station.

I really find it appalling. However, I will no longer comment on it in fear of being called a backseat driver by anyone who works in that building. Besides, they seem to have enough on their plate. I blame the company since it doesn't seem to matter to them as long as they make budget.

Well, it SHOULD matter to them. Radio is NOT new media. We have enough challenges as it is. The ONE thing we offer is.....um, SOUND.....HELLO!!! The audo IS the product, and people have more and more choices WHERE they can get that product now. It needs to be THE BEST it can be! I think companies that have a terrible sounding product (no matter HOW good the content is) will always loose in the end. If anyone has any examples of the OPPOSITE...I'd be happy to be proven wrong. My 2 cents. :)
