MORE! MORE! (please.)

Thank-you. I enjoyed listening.

Hey? I thought 680 was still doing the 68 second news breaks right up to 93' when they went All News in June, but Charmaine, (SP?) when going to news, did NOT say "This is a CFTR 68 second News break"...was that just the one day?...a mistake?
______________

the 68 second news break started back in the early 80's with a catchy sounder which was used until 1990 and then they used another one which was not as good. The news would start 5 min before the hour in the 90's from what I remember.

Correct!...around the same time that they decided to play around with the shifts.
The midnight shift got moved to 2AM, a new shift started at 10PM(going until 2), and the evening shift started at 6pm, instead of 7.

I would also be interested in some stuff from the hog and 1050 chum if you have it...

Aparantly, alot of people, (including myself) are looking for the Hog when it first switched from Country to CHOG. First Hour, and anything from the Summer, or later in 1990. The Hog Halloween 1990 would be interesting too.
______________
