What about WTIC-FM 96.5 on Sundays at 9 PM? Wouldn't they have a say in this?

I would assume Kool plays the 70's version while 'TIC plays the 80's. I think Premiere offers a right of first refusal to carry both, but I doubt TIC would have any interest in playing the 70's version.

Also, sometimes, two overlapping licensees can carry the same syndicated programming but have to respect each other's sales territories, though that usually applies to sports and talk programming rather than music.

On that subject WTIC AM 1080 is the Hartford affiliate of CBS News and is why 990/96.1 carries hourly newscasts from Westwood One News (the un-branded newscasts you hear on 990/96.1 are from Westwood One News) while the Kool Radio stations in Springfield and Westerly carry hourly newscasts from CBS News.

Most likely. I'll have to check next Saturday to be sure. 1270AM comes in really strong down here.

Should also mention AT-40 was also on at 5PM on Sunday on 990/96.1 so that's Saturday Mornings at 9AM and Sunday afternoons at 5PM.

I almost always listen to the show aired on Sundays by WTIC-FM at 9 PM. Last night they aired this week in 1986.

Yes. AT 40 The 70s is also airing on KOOL 1270/100.1 in Springfeild.
