Classic Country 97-1 Having Technical Issues

Not sure when this happened, but KTHT is popping in and out badly and then goes dead. Basically, it drops to a dead carrier for a few minutes at a time, pops back on with what can only be characterized as simply atrocious sounding audio, then it'll pop back off and back on rapidly. It's kind of reminiscent of a CD with a scratch skipping and the player attempting to correct itself. It was just fine while heading to work this afternoon, but cranking up the car just after 11pm to come home is when I first heard it happening. We are now at 4 minutes to 1am, and it is still the same.

Can we get any word from Cox Central as to what happened to 97-1? Did it take on damage from the earlier high winds and deluge we had last night and today?

You really just don't realize how much you appreciate the sounds of the ol' steel guitar, until it's gone...
