But you'll need a HD radio to hear it. That - along with much more, including what's coming up on "Music with Moskowitz" - in this week's edition of RADIO BEAT:

See? Isn't THAT a lot better than posting "Virgin RADIO BEAT" and a link?

While Infinity gets props for doing something to get the ball rolling on HD Radio, they lose HUGE points for that "something" being a crappy canned format from Jones. Most people can easily discern these syndicated formats from real local radio (which explains why KAPS has virtually no listeners - even in Mount Vernon) and would stare blankly at any Best Buy salesman trying to fop off a $300 HD radio to this and ask where the XM and Sirius radios are. At least you don't have to sit through third rate liner card jocks and commercials on most XM/Sirius channels.

This will NOT help further HD Radio and with their bank account, Infinity can do better than this. Even a voicetracked MP3 computer like KYCW was is a far better offering for a second HD Radio channel than a syndicated format even some of the most ghetto AM stations wouldn't even consider because it can be at least be fully customized locally; music, voicers. commercials (if any.)
