I remember Radio One having a bit of success with an oldies country format on 104. Think there is a market for that in Louisville?

I have people at my non radio job in Louisville that love the classic's that 105.5 plays. So who knows.

I think a Classic Country on a decent AM stick would do pretty good. If it's done right. You can't just throw a switch and run something from Jones or ABC. You'd have to give the counrty fan a reason to tune in. Local shows, mix in some bluegrass, bring in a classic country artist for a show. Music is everywhere now. Internet, Ipods, cell phones. You have to give people a reason to listen. In other words... PERSONALITY!!!!

I found probably the best classic country ever when I was riding up through Chattanooga Tennessee a few months back. Love the sweepers, personalities (except one weekend guy I heard a few weekends ago talked WAY too much), but most of all the music is right on target in my humble oppinion. Would be interested in what you guys and girls think of it. www.thelegendonline.com

It just made a huge jump in the ratings as well according to allaccess arb.

After a quick look at the playlist I'd say they play a pretty decent mix of classics. The website is a bit...busy.
