Classic Hip-Hop and R&B

With the help of tranlsators, both Montgomery and Birmingham have launched the "Classic Hip-Hop and R&B" format. Are broadcasters finally realizing this is the format missing between Urban and Urban AC???

KDAY 93.5 FM in Los Angeles is sometimes billed as Rhythmic, Urban AC, Rhythmic AC, Rhythmic Oldies and Urban Adult Hits. I look at KDAY is Rhythmic Oldies their playing stuff R&B/Hip Hop hits from the 90's and Early 2000's. On Mediabase KDAY reports as Rhythmic AC and they're doing good with the format. When they were repeating the same Soujah Boy, Hurricane Chris Gucci Mane and Plies records, 2007-09 that's when they were at their worst. There is some great music coming from the format. Some True Hip Hop.

If you know?, may you tell us the stations? I've been trying to listen to them online, Citadel Media Networks also has a new format "The Nerve" which is (Active Rock) format, both that and Classic Hip Hop and R&B came at the same time at Citadel Media Networks
The Nerve broadcast live online, but not Classic Hip Hop and R&B
If you know, may you tell us?
thank you

WENN 102.1 Birmingham is now classic HIPHOP & R&B(Used to be 24-7 Neo-soul; I liked that one better). This station has a live stream. KNRJ 92.7 Phoenix used to have a live stream, but I can't get it to work anymore.

Oh yeah, Labor day weekend I heard DJ Red Alert mixing live on Wenn. This brought back much memories from back in the day. I used to get WRKS tapes from my cousins in NYC. ;D

Not yet here in DETROIT. I would like to see Radio One consider flipping 102.7 FM WPZR from Gospel to Classic Hip Hop.
