Boom 107.9 was all over the place and didn’t appeal to the white suburbanites. Real 106.1 was better programmed, classic hip hop was cannabalizing Power 99 and Q102 to a lesser extent. Plus there was a big hole to attack Entercom’s AC and classic hits with a soft AC.
