"CLASSIC HIP-HOP"

So, we all know classic hip-hop is a huge format hole in Urban radio. Urban AC plays R&B and classic soul while the Urbans play todays Hip-Hop and R&B. Nobody plays classic hip-hip nonstop. Well, out of all cities Phoenix, AZ has a "Classic Hip-Hop" FM station 92.7/99.3 THE BEAT. I absolutely love the playlist which is all hip-hop from the 90s and early 2000s. A little 80s is thrown in, but no R&B is played at all. I've heard a lean towards West Coast songs are played considerding Cali isn't too far. This is the perfect alternative to Urban AC, Urban and Rhythmics. Take a listen www.azthebeat.com

I hope they will go back to the beginnings of Hip Hop....We need the era of fat gold chains, suade Pumas with the Fat Laces, summer Kangols and Nike sweat suits.....
