Classic Hits 102.3 & 107.3 Audio in BCS

The audio on the translator (K272FK) and the audio on the full power station (KAPN) are about a minute apart. When I was in College Station, I thought one of the stations in the simulcast had changed formats.

It's an odd simulcast, isn't it? 107.3 did an ok job of covering all of Bryan/College Station by itself. I've always wondered why they didn't try a new format on one of the frequencies. If they tried Spanish CHR, they could completely corner the Hispanic market. They already have KBXT and KTAM targeting Hispanics. They could shut out crosstown rival K274CM once and for all.
