classic hits 94.7??

i dont know where this is coming from but i am getting classic hits on 94.7 and its not jack fm jackson. there are no liners/ jingles or id's??anyone know of a classic hits 94.7 anywhere near baton rouge thats not jack fm jackson?? is dowdy finally flipping?<P ID="signature">______________

I was hoping the CCRC would check this out first, but it seems the CCRC is all but dead.

Anyhow, right after they got back on the air after Katrina, 94.7 was "Radio Slidell" which played oldies music and relayed a bunch of information to the Slidell area.

After that, they went off the air for a couple of days, and came back with the music they're playing now. It's not classic hits, but more AC. It's like when Dowdy had control of "Sunny 106.1", but now it's on 94.7.

Also, as I mentioned in the Radio/TV status thread, they do have a legal ID, but it's not quite right. They give the right calls, but not the right frequency (instead of 94.7, they say 94.9).

Also, it's strange they just didn't go back to a simulcast of Praise 94.9. I thought that that's what they would have done.<P ID="signature">______________

its not that strange that they are saying 94.9..they told me before katrina that they should be flipping 949 soon..i wonder if it will...thanks tymer ..and yea it looks like no more ccrc..<P ID="signature">______________
