Classic Hits In Buffalo?

My KB voice for sure. That stab at ultra hip was actually quite embarrassing.

And, Rox...I'll be lurking and waiting for my opportunity, pal. ;D

Sorry, I couldn't resist. BTW, anybody heard from or about Jeff recently? I know that his bout with throat cancer pushed him into retirement, but it sure would be interesting to hear his take on the current state of radio.

I don't remember if Jeff commented about the state of radio, but the Halloween, 2007 edition of the SOWNY show (www.sowny.ca) features an interview with the two of us (and radio wasn't all that different then except it wasn't in as much danger of just disappearing).

Speaking about the state of radio today, do you read Jerry Del Colliano's weekday musings? If not, I'd highly recommend Inside Music Media. Fascinating stuff.

Mr. Debaser - thanks for the tip - I just read Jerry's latest post. The future: corporate owned repeater stations. The religious broadcasters were a head of their time -- my God(no pun intended)!!! Radio, like the american auto industry, is going down the skids fast. From the days of WKBW and Chevy Impalas to Ryan Seacrest and federal bailouts. Depressing.
