Most of the under 35 crowd doesn't listen to AM. Putting it on FM immediately gives it visibility with them. However, I don't see it happening in the near term. The classic hits format of WLS-FM is about the only thing that's done well on 94.7 in years.

Yeah, real tiny. It's called the Chicago Metro Survey Area. It's the third largest metro in the USA.

Large advertisers and agencies don't buy much, if anything, outside each individual metro. There is absolutely no gain in putting the WLS-FM format on AM... it would get just about zero under-60 listeners and lose money like mad.
