Classic Oldies 90.3WRBK/90.9WNBK Get WEBK Calls & a CP for 91.1

Richburg SC Educational Broadcasters "Classic Oldies" 90.3/WRBK-Richburg SC (7.5kw) & 90.9/WNBK - Whitmire SC (1.8kw) get the legendary call letters WEBK from 105.3 Cat Country in Rutland VT, to add to their simulcast. They have a CP on 91.1, now @430 watts in Society Hill SC. 91.1 is WYFG/Gaffney, a BBN (Bible Broadcasting Network) station, programming Religious @100kw. Could the CP be upgrading from 430 watts in Society Hill to 100kw in Gaffney? That would be an indescribable increase, & an Oldies station in Charlotte?

:D I definitely hope it happens. Now that 104.7 and 102.9 dropped the 60s and 70s music from their playlist, their is a missing format gap. Wonder if Z730 AM would have done better today.

Society Hill is near Darlington, so I would say that CP would serve Florence and will have no overlap with the station in Gaffney. though, it will give you more oldies on the way to the beach.

Maybe RBK can take over operations at a different Upstate station, although it may be unlikely.
Perhaps 96.7 shine would be good for them. I would like to see WYFG (BBN) in my town go away.
almost no one is listening to that here, people would rather hear WZZQ (on 104.3) in this town.

I feel the same way about WYFQ, nobody listens to it AM or FM. People who listen to Christian radio that I know listen to WRCM, WMIT, or WHVN.

91.9 WKRI covers the Greenville area pretty well. There may be occasional static, but it is overall decent. I don't know about outside of Greenville county.

Don't touch the only good Christian music!

WRCM and WMIT are garbage.

I do look forward to having a station to listen to on the way to the beach next year. WEZV probably won't be able to solve its problems.
