Classic Q102

well, I found some airchecks here but I'll be daggoned if I can figure out how to embed them. As I was at Q from 1980-1993, these files caught my attention.

well, I'm in Concord and can do with a spot of Skyline, please.

Loved that station in 1972 up until January, 1974 when Bill Todd AKS The Cat, programmed them. Great format. When I woke up one morning in January, 1974 and heard Blue Swede Hooked On a Feeling, and knew the end had come.

will have to call and find out. maybe they have JTM too. NOBODY could sell JTM like Marty and Joe.

How awesome would it be if Hubbard would have Classic Q102 on their HD2 feed. I would buy an HD radio for that.

called em...no go. but you know who carries Skyline? Amazon! And I guess I can order from their website.

Ditto that. Great AOR-leaning format that was more open and less twangy than EBN (not as much Grateful Dead, New Riders, Poco, etc.) Loved the Moody Blues TOH IDs "Listen we think we have found you...." I too was disappointed to see "KRQ" shift back to mainstream Top 40. But they did eventually become a Cincinnati radio legend even though they were never my station of choice from the late 70s on.

Walmart's grocery department carries frozen Skyline in Indiana.

Son in law is a store manager At the K. They can order for you just need to talk to store mgr. Cheaper than amazon. If there was only a way, I'd happily swap you in n out for skyline.
