Classic TV series Hunter sounds strange on Circle subchannel

All of the voices almost sound like chipmunks. They must be speeding the show up for more commercials to be inserted. Also any scenes with women in bikini's or low cut shirts are lightly fuzzed out. It is needless to say annoying as hell. Am I the only one who notices this?
