Driving around in Meriden a few minutes ago, I heard classical music on 106.5. The piece was long and I reached my destination before it ended, but I figured I could Google an ID. No luck. I can't get it inside my apartment building, so can anyone here tell me what I was hearing. I have a feeling it's Long Island, because WJVC Center Moriches was booming in on 96.1 at the same time.

WSHU has a translator on 106.5 in Ridge Long Island, so it could be it. They were playing Classical Music at the time you heard them. Check out http://www.wshu.org/ for more info.
If it's relaying WSHU, why wouldn't it relay its musical programming?
106.5 in Derby is part of Fairfield County Public Radio and runs their News/Talk programming.
