Classical

So this is posted on 89.7's Facebook page:

We'd like to welcome our new listeners on 90.7 FM in the Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast to our CSF Fan page!! Please tell your friends, colleagues, family and neighbors we are on air and streaming online www.classicalsouthflorida.org

Does that mean they are simulcasting? Did they drop the NPR stuff in the morning and afternoon?

We know their is a good reason you did not visit their website and click on that orange link on the left side before posting.
People are sleeping and your headphones are broken.
Try this one, it is silent!

You are confused, flapjack:
One owner with one brand identity, but two program schedules on two three stations.
We expect that the WKCP/W270AD program will eventually replace the generic Classical 24 feed on WPBI-HD2, but not the main channel and HD1.
Additionally, WKCP will never air NPR material, because WLRN has that tied up and I don't see any love between NPR and APM.

AH. Got it. Their site is a bit confusing.
What they need to do is simulcast during the classical portions. It would save them $$ and increase their reach.

Might never happen, but we would like to hear WPBI's Classical Variations expand to the Miami station.
