Clear Channel 96.5 translator in New Orleans

It seems C.C. has the 96.5 translator in New Orleans. The application shows it rebroadcasting WQUE or one of its HD sub-channels as of now. Can anyone in the area confirm if its on the air and if so what is it broadcasting.

I heard blues music but no identifier and a very scratchy signal in my car driving in Metairie. Don't know if it was a re-broadcast of their HD signal. It was not either of their AMs though.

Came in a lot better than WIST's translator which is supposed to be in Metairie.

The only HD2 station I heard from Q93 I didn't get a chance to figure what it is, but sounds more like old school than any new school when I got a chance to play with a HD radio

If they did get the translator back on the air , it was just for a few days as they have a silent STA

In Metarie, you may have been hearing Tangi 96.5 from Amite

I'm sure if you live in the New Orleans area, this kind of stuff matters.
But if you come to New Orleans to visit, party, etc. you're not listening to local radio anyway.
