Michael Berry keeps his airshifts on 950 & 740

It's about time. Somebody with a clue is now in charge over there.

I guess somebody in the brass section at CC finally came to his/her senses and realized that it takes someone with real radio experience to manage a major market station.

I think Michael Berry's days are numbered. Although CC will never admit it, Michael Berry will be released because of the "bomb the mosque" comment. The same thing happened to Chris Baker. In 2007, he went on the "Yao Ming is a slave" rant, and was forced to apologize. Three and a half months later, he was let go in favor of Micheal Berry.

It's a three year cycle with these conservative KTRH talk show hosts. They make a "foot-in-mouth" statement, then they are sent to Siberia.

If Chris Baker was sent to Minneapolis, then Michael Berry's next stop will be... Detroit?

How about Burlington,VT where he can rag on Pat Leahy, Bernie Sanders, and Pete Welch, as well as be irritant to the far left on the UVT and other college campuses nearby.

Other than that, I'd say Miami. Or Duluth,MN.

Aw, now. No sense getting tacky. This is a respectable board.

He's already been a guest host for Mark Levine. It's a strong possibility. But he would have to create his own time slot in the world of syndicated talk hosts. It's getting to be a crowded scene.

I only hope a guy that decent can survive in management!

Bryan won't survive long at CC management level Bob. He's not an A-Hole, and as we all know, it's only the A-Holes that rise out of the ranks into management in Big Radio, especially CC.

There are exceptions of course, and I have had the great good fortune of working for one of the exceptions for 17 years now at KUHF FM. But they are very few and far between.
