Yet another example of how Corporate America is buying influence with the politicians charged with public policy and the enforcement of law and regulations. However this mainly involves the billboard division of Clear Channel, not the radio division. I doubt however that Ryan Seacrest felt "moved" to acknowledge Delgadillo. More likely his bosses told him to be there if he likes his job and big new syndication deal.
