Among many who have been cut...Shane Warner, morning host @ News Talk 1230 The Talk Of Waco.
Shane's boss must have received one of the infamous RIF Flash Drives (or a memo from the regional manager who got the RIF drive).
For Shane's fans...You can be sure this had NOTHING to do with Shane's ability to create and entertain. This was yet another CC "Reduction In Force", based on hour-by-hour "performance data" set by corporate. Simply said, if a show doesn't meet the goals laid out by management's mystical mathmatical formula, you go bye-bye.
 
Shane is a talented host...too talented for KWTX-AM. It appears that CC agrees.
 
Yea, it's nation-wide. Apparently "Clear Corridors" Radio (THANKS Tom Wells!) is bound and determined to turn each and every station into a incompetent iPod clone.
