Clear Channel Cuts 590

So, how many OTHER people immediately thought, "How can Clear Channel cut a Disney station?"

:D :D

*raises hand*

Someone in another thread ("BAD DAY AT CUME-LESS") posted an article from Radio & Records about the CC cuts. There were some stations effected in Georgia, but no cuts in Atlanta, apparently.

Here's the link:

I get the impression, though, that there may be more on this list that we know about (publicly).

People in traffic and office duties were cut in Atlanta.

I hope Art Mad Man Mearing was n't one of them. I read that the Clear Channel cuts were about 950. Did Clear Channel sponsor the Titanic, because it's sure sinking.

according to All Access (http://www.allaccess.com/) one on-air person from Project was cut:

"Active Rock WKLS/ATLANTA weekender FISTER is free 24/7..."

Did he do Saturday mornings? Because I saw on Perrynoid's blog that he will be doing a show from 6-9 am on Saturday mornings...

Rumors are saying another cut but this time it is Managers. I was wondering when this was going to happen. Right now there are to many cooks in the kitchen.

No, unlike CC, Disney is actually putting money in their stations. At least for the one I take care of.
