Clear Channel cuts in Milwaukee

Clear Channel might need consider just selling some of their stations rather than running glorified jukeboxes in small to medium size markets. WKKV needs as much local talent as possible considering it is the only full-service urban in the market and only that spins both hip-hop and R&B.
 
You have a point. Kinda sucks CBS is only focusing on large markets. I never hear anything bad about their stations.

Agreed, CBS and their large market focus is very myopic and will likely comeback to haunt them considering the population shifts that are continuing to occur nationwide. They had the potential of being a very strategically advanced company when it came to urban formatted radio stations in other markets aside from the top 25. Their methods of allowing so much local autonomy with their divisions is what is needed in modern-day radio.
 
Absolutely horrible. I can't see how this can last very long. I seriously doubt that anyone wants to hear this crap they're airing from 6-10 PM. Hopefully CC just sells this station

I don't have the patience to try to listen on iHeartRadio during that timeslot. What are they airing since they dumped DJ HotSauce?

I can't remember the guy's name but it was voice-tracked....just like Chris Caliente and Mr. Chase but this was a different guy.

But tonight it seems to be running completely DJ free.
