Heard several people are now gone from CC Indy. Who is out?
 
well im sensing at least Maybe Ace COsby, Bill Remicka, and the PD who goes by the on air name of Phil Upright is gone at least in terms of WNDE. when Q95's Jimmy Mathis is doubling as Sports anchor during the drive with JMV. you know who's getting the boot.
 
I'm pretty sure that Bill Radio has only ever been a part-timer over there, so I doubt that he's "out."

He was probably just unavailable today.
 
well usually when Phil Upwright is not doing sports updates Bill Remicka is doing the sports updates during the drive with JMV, yesterday was some new person and today Mad Dog was doing them along with his Q95 shift simultaneously. and if Bill Radio was part time he surely seems to be at WNDE almost any time hes not over at WXIN doing traffic for traffic.com because ive always heard Bill on after ball games saying what is coming up next on wnde be it monday, thursday or sunday
 
Lets Fire Ace who was a fixture a Q for over a quarter of a century. doing at least 4 jobs at the time of his release, Tracking his Q95 Shift, Doing Midday Traffic, Producing JMV's Sports Show on WNDE. why not keep him and fire Big Rig (Oh wait they probly track him in from somewhere else LOL so we cant fire him and keep Ace)

Actually, JD has been here at WFMS longer; he's about to mark his 30th anniversary.

I worked with Ace for one of his 20-some-odd years at Q [though I doubt he remembers me].

I wish him nothing but the best of health and luck.

May his landing be as smooth as that voice.
 
When a jock (Ace, for example) is fired from his home station, what happens to the stations that he VT's. For example, Ace was/is VT a station in Mason City IA. Does that gig go away,or does Ace have to find another studio to do it?

If the Mason City IA station is a CC Station im sure hes gone from there as well
 
Phil Upright was Chris Geisen. He was the PD of WNDE. He was let go on 1/20 along with Ace, promo director Dan Anderson and a sales person.
 
well Radio Bill Remieka Returned to being semi on air this afternoon on WNDE after being strangely MIA for the last 2 and half weeks after the 1/20 CC Cuts. but Mad dog is still Doing SPorts updates
