CLEAR CHANNEL DEAD AIR

Looks like big problems at Clear Channel Poughkeepsie tonight.

At 7:30pm, I noticed dead air on all the stations: WRNQ, WBWZ, WPKF, WRWC, WRWD, and WKIP.

They were back on at 7:57pm, but off again a few minutes later. At 8:15 everyone came back on, but now (9:15) all are off again. I expect some kind of power / flooding problem related to the rain, or maybe the computer just called it quits. (Actually if the computer died, they'd be able to get back on the air "the old fashioned way".)

Meanwhile, all the transmitter carriers are on... aren 't they supposed to cut the carriers if they discontinue programming??

Again this am, dead air at the CC cluster. walker came on and said that he had to get some CD's from his car as they were rebooting the computer again. No nothin except the jock and a CD player. Hmm this is what happens when you use a computer vs a live body....I bet the advertisers were po'ed. This was at 6 am today, don't know if they got it fixed or not. Cheap channel strikes again.....

oldies4ever ;D
