Clear Channel Fires Two Jocks (not local) For On Air Comments

This time in St. Louis, MO where two jocks were fired for discussing ways to disarm and injure police officers. Apparently the conversation between the jocks and the callers upset the local CC bosses, and the jocks were cut loose. The jocks names were DJ Sylli Asz and DJ Kaos on their "BEAT" station. Your thoughts?<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by FakeUsernameHere on 08/03/05 10:42 PM.</FONT></P>
 
It sounds to me like they had appropriate names.

Yep and they needed to be fired for that....regardless of format/race, etc.

..broadcasting from the land of bent towers, flooded studios and wind...Florida!!</P>

It seems that if you work in a market the size of St. Louis you might, I repeat, MIGHT have enough radio savvy at that point in your career to know better.

Same here. This is one of those rare times where I agree with Clear Channel. While I detest police brutality, and the abuse of power that comes with it, there's absolutely no excuse for the remarks they made on the air.
