Clear Channel Firings Are Welcome...

If they are firing those in the company that have been killing our industry since "the great experiment" began. When is this going to stop? I'll tell you when, when there is nobody left in the building except those programming the Musak in between 20 minute commercial breaks, and listeners finally say, "enough".

I would love to know the statistics. How many good, hard working people have lost their jobs while the bloated, do nothing core of managers remain. I guess the talented personalities, producers, sellers, board ops, etc, etc, aren't going to just fire themselves.

Hey, those guys take up around 42% of the oxygen over at KEGL, so anything that involves their removal will be gladly appreciated.

Bongo, I gave up on most US-based radio around five years ago, save listening to KRLD 1080 locally for news/traffic or 101x out of austin for their speciality programming (Chillville, Hypersonic). The rest of my listening is broken up between sirius (via dish network) or internet radio feeds from outside the states.
