Clear Channel has a 24/7 News Channel on IHeartRadio

Well the intent for Clear Channel is to either compete against ARNN News or form a back-up plan if Fox News does not renew the contract with CC . But how can ARNN News and CC 24/7 News go into big cities where Local all-news stations rule their respective markets like KCBS,WBBM,KYW, WINS, WBZ, WCBS and WTOP are within the top 5 rated or top 10 rated in their markets. The Audiences who live in the Big DMA's usually demand more local content in their newscasts. In able for 24/7 News to work along with ARNN news they would have to aim in areas where ARNN news does not exist and where there are no Local all-news station in service.
