Clear Channel Houston Radio Streaming

I noticed that when you click on "Listen Live" link that it now opens Windows Media Player directly instead of the small pop up window with the player embedded provided by Eonstreams. This is the Houston Clear Channel Radio Stations only that I have noticed.

Anyone else notice this recent change?

I was just informed that Eonstreams do not stream for Houston anymore.

Re: (KBME) Clear Channel Houston Radio Streaming

any-one else noticed that kbme never turns off their stream during nfl games???

does any-one want to inform the nfl and give clearchannel a nice christmas present of a big fine from the nfl.

i noticed that clear channel really does not care what they stream...

i listened to the world series on the ktrh and kbme streams

i thought rush was not allowed to be streamed but it is there everyday on kprc stream

hey the-wrong-answer what your excuse for this one?

Re: (KBME) Clear Channel Houston Radio Streaming

You may have a problem with it but I certainly don't! It was nice to hear the KTRH World Series broadcast and for a long time, KTRH has let some of its Astros broadcasts stream as well as many local commercials. I didn't want to mention it because I figured they'd stop it if someone read it on here, but nothing's been done so oh well.

CC changes streaming services almost as fast as some people change their underwear! I recall reading on AllAccess or some trade site that CC was signing with a new provider....Geesh.

Personally, I try to bypass the streaming player and go to WMP directly...that allows use of the graphic equalizer which the membedded player doesnt!
Also some sites will log you off after an hour or so...but if you can go direct with WMP instead, it never disconnects (Listening to JackFM in CA for instance is one example)

Re: (KBME) Clear Channel Houston Radio Streaming

Um, that would be a HANUKKAH present for those at CC who make those decisions...

I agree with you completely, they should let the WMP go direct that way quicker loads and it doesnt load junk on also.

Why complain about a good thing? All you sports bashers are the same - you don't want to hear any sports, anywhere! And Mr. Limbaugh streams on a lot of stations, not just CC.
