Clear Channel is going private!

Heard on WTVN this morning that their parent company, Clear Channel, is going private. While they are keeping the top 100 markets, they are selling off all of their TV stations, and another 450 plus stations on top of it. So what happens now with the WMRN move since it's coming from a city that they will be selling off?

My guess (I hope) to the locals where it belongs. WYNT 'Majic 95.9' had recently been granted a CP to move its COL and xmtr from Upper Sandusky to Caledonia. If the new owners want it,they may have to pay extra unless they choose to keep it in UpSan and pitch the CP.Good sounding station with a local flavor..one of the very few CCs I like when I'm in the area.

Some really good people got let go today. Just to name 3.....Scott Kahler, George Zonders, Stuart Osborne. Thanks CC for making everyone's Holidays a little brighter.

I hate to break it to you but the WYNT move to Caledonia has already happened.. WMRN is still on tap to move to Dublin (errr the WOSU Tower in westerville) and become part of the Columbus cluster (even if they sell the Marion cluster)
