Clear Channel is private

It's all done. Remember earlier this year when the DOJ said CC would have to divest part of its Cincinnati portfolio? There was a lot of discussion about it but I don't remember anything coming from it. Did CC decide what Cincy stations they were unloading?

The FCC said that they had to sell 2 FM's or 1 AM and 1 FM. I've heard nothing in awhile about it though which is strange.

Check Kevin Martin's bank account. There may be a large deposit there

So what's the story another trade listed stations going to Aloa trust, none from Cincinnati.
As Junior get's a trade, who from CC in Cincinnati gets traded.

Sell WLW back to the locals and preserve its rich history and Crosley heritage. Throw urban WKFS in the deal as well.

Dayton will have to sell eventually. 94 and 106 are both in Aloha Trust.

Im kinda shocked, but not totally that CC is spinning off 92.5 and 94.1. I really thought they would try to move Kiss to 94.1 and then spin off 92.5 and 107.1, but oh well!

I dont think Bonneville can pick up another FM property, and this may have been their reasoning.

Radio One can technically pick up an additional 2 FM's to fill out their portfolio. However, they dislike Anglo Saxon formats...so would they dump one and flip to Jazz and the other to Gospel? That could only help Bonneville with WSWD and WKRQ.

As for swapping, there really arent any properties that Clear Channel could swap with to get out of Cincy. So thats gonna be a hard call. Unless, Clear Channel gets Buffalo and gives the 2 FM stations and throws in an AM station to Regent.
