Clear Channel National Contests

Are the Clear Channel National Contests real? Right now there is the "Ca$h for Gas" contest going on. 100th Nationwide caller wins. Has anyone heard of anyone actually winning these contests before? It seems like it would be impossible to get through. <P ID="signature">______________

National Contests

More people playing from a nationwide pool of listeners, sure. The way you're asking the question, it feels like you're saying "how can ANYBODY get through?".

Well, if you think about it in technical terms, of course somebody gets through. Odds of winning are, of course, higher, but the winners are legit
(whether it's CC or Infinity).

Management will sometimes panic that one station has had two winners while another participating station has had none. They will "encourage" you to pump the phone number and play times. Your walks down the hll for coffee can be quite unpleasant until your station gets a winner.
