The Department of Justice has just told Clear Channel Communications that they must divest radio stations in four cities (Cincinnati, Houston, Las Vegas and San Franisco) before being acquired for $19.5 billion by a private equity group (led by Bain Capital and Thomas Lee Partners).

DOJ Ordered Divestments Are Mostly Spanish Language

As previously reported that the Justice Department approved the $19.5 Billion buy-out of Clear Channel Communications by Thomas H Lee and Bain Capital with the previso that six stations be divested.

..... happy to report that none of those stations set for divestiture are COUNTRY. ;D
