How much you want to bet Clear Channel changes a station like WRVA to Country to try and take down Curtis Media's WQDR.. they tried it before, didn't work - so they took Rush / Hannity and Beck over to RDU.. now that CC is in the middle of the pack - I bet they do it again..

just you watch!

That would be the definition of insanity. Remember the Rooster...or Country Legends from Capital?

Why don't they just try to make WRVA a better station. "It's All About the ...Savings". 'RVA is Muzak for 45 year olds.
But, do 45 year olds like Muzak?

A mainstream Triple A would get 35-45 year olds likin' the radio again.

I agree, but with QDR sitting so strong, and CC sitting so weak anymore.. Pulse really took DCG and KSL down a notch.. I wouldn't doubt they changed soon.. Maybe not Country.. but what else do they have? CC needs station to get big ratings.. maybe they go Urban?

Pulse is not all that took down G... Kiss also took down G. I can't figure out why they are cannibalizing their own cash cow.

100.7 used to be a Triple A... it was a terrible one though. They took the idea of "if it was a stiff 10 years ago, it's eclectic" and played some real stinkers.

;DMaybe Da Reever could play "Sweet Home Abalama" and "More than mine Feeling" every 15 minutes or so....since they DO test soooooo well.....and people just GOTTA hear it every time they turn on a radio......if they ever do in the first place. ;D ;D

Concerning Muzak, ever wonder if the musicians that record that stuff, point out their great solo coming up if they're listening in an elevator or restanrant? I'm just sayin'.... ???

The New Muzak installs a receiver that gets like 20 different types of music including the hits recorded by the orginal artists, country, rock or just about anything you want. It's switchable
