Clear Channel Seattle Exec - re Radio Community

"Clear Channel Radio Seattle is the exclusive partner for Washington state's Thrive by Five, a unique public-private partnership that educates parents on the importance of early education and early parental involvement in their child's education. This partnership has propelled Washington from being one of the worst states in the country to being a world leader when it comes to early learning....." - Michele Grosenick

I always thought it was Head Start. But what do I know? I'm just a parent of two kids under five, been to countless preschool parent/teacher meetings and this is the FIRST time I've ever heard of this Thrive By Five partnership.

Then I looked up the web site: http://www.thrivebyfivewa.org/

And on the bottom of the page is something very interesting...:

"THRIVE BY FIVE is a trademark of Credit Union National Association, Inc. ("CUNA") and is used by Washington Early Learning Fund ("WELF") under license from CUNA. CUNA's Thrive by 5 Program provides materials for financial education to preschool-age children and their families and is not affiliated with WELF...."

Financial education? To kids under FIVE??......
