Clear Channel shutting off HD-2?

Clear Channel Hartford seems to have turned off the HD-2 stream of WHCN. The "forgotten favorites" has been unavailable for the past couple of days; tuning the receiver to 105.9-2 just sends it back to the main signal on 105.9-1. WWYZ's HD-2 signal -- "classic country" -- hasn't been on since before Thanksgiving.

Technical difficulties, or is CC making its stations run leaner and meaner for the upcoming slaughter, er, sale?

There is a software upgrade out that may mean the stations will have to take out the HD2 while they do the upgrade. If the upgrade is not performed properly the unit will need to be sent to the manufacturer for a clean install.

Not to worry it will be back.
