Clear Channel stations RDS

Has anyone noticed that Clear Channel has inserted an odd symbol on their stations' RDS readouts? I can't figure out what the symbol stands for and I can't even really describe it. At first I thought my radio just didn't pick up all the characters correctly, but it kept popping up. FM 97, The River, Bob 94.9, Y102 (WRFY Reading), and Radio 104.5 (Philly) all have it scrolling. I couldn't get any RDS on Kiss where I was last night to see if they had it too.

Just curious if anyone else saw this.

One can only wonder if this "character" is available to those who decided to "swallow the Kool Aid" known as HD Radio?

I thought maybe it had something to do with HD at first too, but I don't believe Y102 broadcasts in HD. But in any cast, I don't have HD, this was just off of analog.

May have something to do with tagging for song purchases. It may not apply to RDS but could be used on other devices through HD. The artist/title database originates from the same place for either.
