Clear Channel to modify 4 stations

I also think it will be great to have a triple a presence in Hartford. I have been listening to WRNX for a long time. They play many artists not heard in the Hartford market. I remember first hearing John Mayer on RNX and they brought him into Theodore's in Springfield as part of a free listener appreciation concert. They remind me somewhat of the old AOR format. It will be a fresh sound for CT.

AAA would be nice, but who would flip to it? The WRNX format has a cult following in Hartford, but that choice may well disappear even in Springfield if 100.9 goes country. Saga's WRSI 93.9 - a variation of AAA - does overlap with WRNX along the I-91 corridor from just north of Springfield through western Massachusetts up to Vermont. They'd still have some form of AAA - Hartford would not. Long Island's AAA WEHM/WEHN can only be heard near the CT shoreline.
