Clear Channel to start multicasts in Chi-Town

R&B Oldies on 102.7 II and Pure Jazz on 95.5 II. That's the buzz.

And here's what I suggest for the remaining channels.

93.9 II Really Lite favorites. You know, Air Supply, Barry Manilow, other 70s/80s/90s/today soft fare. No Maroon 5, Hoobastank, or other non lite material allowed.

103.5 II: Hurban or Dance.

107.5 II WGCI-AM Gospel format.
______________
The old skool show@noon with Jeff G and DJ Rawn
Only on Power 106(KPWR Los Angeles)

JOSH, Moderating the whole Radio-Info radio state of California and Indiana too!

Sub-channels this and webcast that...... radio is really getting un-interesting.

Same with TV. All I want is pure analog radio and tv that I can get skip from. This new technology is boring. Consider me old school.

AMEN BROTHER! Death to technology! Bring back reel-to-reel tape recorders! Bring back cart machines! Bring back 78 LP records! Bring back...oops. Went too far back.

Technology can be great for the business (Cool Edit/Adobe Audition, STL, Telos, etc.) but I would have to agree. TOO much tech can help stations lose focus, which I believe the entire industry has done. Let's re-focus on what terrestrial radio does best...LIVE, LOCAL PROGRAMMING!

If you're an advertiser, you have to think there should be lower ad rates because now the pie is cut up even more. If I had a top station, or a number of them, I'd stop and think about this.
