Young Jizzo now takes over the B-95 night show for J Magic, who has replaced Danny Salas on the afternoon drive.

David Kane is now the traffic reporter for the Fresno Clear Channel Cluster

both just announced officially....Young Jizzo has been doing the night show for a few months and I don't know who David Kane is.

I've heard David Kane more than a few times (reading the news too?) He doesn't sound like he is from Fresno, he must be doing it from a Clear Channel major market, he sounds way too strong to be a Fresno jox (or talent since he's not a dj)

Young Jizzo sounds bored, no suprise there

Don't know about David Kane in particular, but most Fresno traffic reporters are based in either San Francisco or LA.
 
Thats what I'm talking about jussomeguy, what's going on in Fresno radio when the best voice (or at least one of the best voices) at Clear Channel is doing traffic?

And K-Hits, how bout updating your on air web pages (blogs) and I'm a big fan of Jody Jo too....Mr. Rick Roddam was JR the only applicant when you put out a call for local talent?

A young gal I know at B-95 has confirmed David Kane is local and he has also taken over the morning news for the Clear Channel cluster. CC must have brought him in from a bigger market. Strange his name doesn't appear on the company employee list though.

Steve Weed has been named Operations Manager, taking over for Paul Wilson
 
Billy Wright is back doing morning news, heard her last week, she is listed as the News Director. Agreed David Kane local or not was huge upgrade at Clear Channel Fresno. New Operations Manager Steven Weed may be altering Alice 96.7, they are now "90's 2k & Today" here's a free tip....go "LOCAL" no more Valentine no more Ryan Seacrest..they are killing Clear Channel...only one local talent? Makani? what is this an oldies station?


Peaks y101 is "80's 90's Now"....with local talent

interesting...just found out David Kane is David Caudillo, which explains all the "major market sound" comments on this thread...it also may explain 103.7 The Beat...no way Clear Channel brought him in to do "traffic"

Jeff Davis is the OM at Mega, David was the PD or APD, not to mention he was the MD at 94.3 when Greg Mack owned it, back when the rap on 103.7 the beat was new...this probably doesn't belong on this thread, but maybe the beat 103.7 makes sense


what doesn't make sense is CC dumping KRZR completely and keeping "little" country 102.7
