G105 could use a little re-tuning, but it's been steady over the years. If nothing else, they have heritage at work for them. There's a sense that they're sort of slowly following the national trend of gradually declining listenership in the CHR format.
RDU needs some help. I love Bob & Tom, but this is a station that's been in steady decline over the past 3 years or more. It's like no one over there cares.
I think a lot of people thought Sunny might be the next CC station in line for a flip, but their numbers actually went up in the last book. I'm not sure what they're doing differently. Shrug and go figure.
CC needs to single out one of the mediocre performers over there at Smoketree and do something different. IMO there's too much overlap between RDU and the River. Both stations sound like a trainwreck to me (although it's deliberate, where the River is concerned). It's too late to find something to go after QDR's audience, Capitol beat them to it.
