Will anybody really miss the John Tesh show? That show's so tepid and shlocky it makes Dull-lilah entertaining. A $6 an hour liner jock could put on a better show.

Things that make you go hmmmmm?

Julie's gone :-(
Lisa Thomas is MIA today...
Logan is history
John Tesh is no more

All that's left is Tony Zazza. Too bad Casa 106.7 already took the calls or they could change KDMX to KZZA and have Zazza radio. LOL!

Well there's WHCY/Stroudsburg,PA called "Max 106.3" but it's more of "90's and Now." Something similar to KHMX/Houston. Or if that don't work, why don't CC have Casa and the calls KZZA move to 102.9 an have Tony Zazza still do mornings. (Okay that won't work either)
Edited by sluggmunki on 02/14/06 08:02 PM.

Or flip to all-Italian music as Casa Nostra.
"We play a mob of great music."

(if this is politically incorrect and/or offensive to anyone, please accept my apologies. If not, never mind.))

Is it just my computer, or is most of the links on Mix 102.9's website not working?

It's probably your computer. You see, the mix1029.com requires that you have a broadband conneciton and a computer that is no more than a year old in order to display the inordinate amount of Flash and JavaScript that they have decided to employ. Please, in order to visit any radio station website, make sure you are using the absolute latest technology.

I mean, geez... what were you thinkin? That they would actually want REAL people to visit the site?

pfff...

Radio station web sites are only for themselves anymore. If they cared about the listners, they'd lower bandwidth and processing requirements.
______________

Re: Mix website

I just wonder what is going on over there? People are leaving left and right. Do you think a format tweak or even a flip is in 102.9's near future?

That's what I want to know, too!! Something funny going on here.

All of the Clear Channel websites are being handled nationally
now (surprise). That way they can eliminate the local positions
of web masters. If you are trying to click on the sections at the
top of the page such as: 'station info', 'DJs', 'community' you will
notice that the page doesn't change. Links to some things should work
like traffic and music news. But it isn't local/listener friendly at
all. Why have a section for "community" when you can't even get into
it? Oh yeah, because CC doesn't care about getting into the community!
