It's really good to see that Clear Channel does have the Christmas spirit - they take good care of their employees. http://www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/113290/another-round-of-layoffs-at-clear-channel

Why own so many radio stations (CC) when you can't pay your longtime employees to stay at their respective stations? They own 850 radio stations, and yet can't hold on to top positions in their top markets (Miami, Cincinnati, and Detroit).
Thank god the Tribune has held on to WGN, or else both of the Chicago talk stations would be owned by national corporations (CC owns WVON 1690, while Salem Communications owns WIND). We don't need Andy Dean, Clyde Lewis, or Todd Schnitt coming into our largely-local market. They can save that crap for WCKG and AM 820.

What's been done to WLS-FM is a sin. Legendary station and they bring in great DJs, a fabulous idea to match up those names with those great call letters and jingles and then the PD doesn't allow these talents to be displayed. Then the final knife in the back to listeners, the music is completely gutted. Just what we need another imitation of "The Drive".
