Clear Channels BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.....

They are delusional.

I don't know how delusional they are because I have a difficult time getting into the minds of people who have to hear exactly what they want at any given moment. I don't listen to music on a mobile device and rarely do I listen online. I'm not mired in the past or tech-challenged. I just have too much of a life to spend time jumping through hoops because I can't function without a song playing and I don't get the DTs because I have to sit through a song I might not care for. I don't view radio as an appliance. I want the total package in any station I listen to, and that means music, personalities, and a general atmosphere I'm comfortable with. After years in the business I do think a lot of what radio gets excited about just doesn't carry over with the same level of excitement to potential listeners. Listening options, be they on a mobile device, computer, radio, CD player, etc are getting so mind boggling that I no longer blame the big companies. I blame the schizo listeners.

The concert it probably of little interest to most other than an opportunity to daydream about going. It's just to launch the eventual rollout. Using Facebook is a good idea except that all these people who like Iheartradio are going to get constantly inundated with updates they don't want. It does keep Iheartradio foremost in peoples'minds though but you have to be the type of person who cares about this.

I use the app to listen to personalities that have moved elsewhere over time and so I can still catch Matty, clearly, w/o static. Other than that most of the stations are nothing special.

CBS and others needs to do something outside of adobe flash. Not sure if there is a workaround but anything apple is incompatible
